Pool Equipment

Pool Equipment

Filters, and pumps, and heaters, oh my!

There are many types of equipment made for swimming pools by many different manufacturers. The most common types of pool equipment are pool skimmers to remove large debris, pumps to circulate the water and filters to remove particulates. All pools must have these in order for the pool to function properly. Many people also choose to have a pool heater or heat pump for a more comfortable swimming experience. Other types of optional equipment include salt system chlorine generators and erosion feeders. Automatic pool cleaners are another type of pool equipment but are often classified in their own category because they are removable and not considered permanent equipment.
