Keep your pool clean
By monitoring your water chemistry and water balance, doing a little maintenance and adding some chemicals from time to time, you can keep your pool safe, sanitized and sparkling. Proper pool maintenance and water balance is not complicated and depends on only a few basic principles. All the chemicals in the world and the best advice are of little value in proper pool water maintenance if the water is not effectively being filtered and circulated. If the pump is too small for the pool or is not run long enough each day, and/or if the filter is too small, too old, broken or is not functioning correctly, then the quality of your water will suffer. Filtration physically removes insoluble or suspended matter such as dirt, dust, leaves, organic matter and other debris from the water. Circulation helps bring water to the filter and it assures that the chemicals that have been added are being dispersed and moved throughout the entire pool.
