Hayward Star-Clear Cartridge Filters accommodate pools and spas of all types and sizes. Deigned for replacement or new pool installations, they offer added quality, value and convenience in cartridge filtration. The PermaGlass XL filter tank is constructed from extra durable glass-reinforced co-polymer to meet the demands of the toughest applications and environmental conditions including in floor cleaning systems. The durable filter head may be rotated to conveniently position pressure gauge and the manual air relief has a single locking knob to securely fasten head to the filter tank, eliminating bolts or clamps. Star-Clear Cartridge Filters are made of polyester elements to filter out ultra fine dirt particles that remove easily for cleaning. The filtered water collector and debris sump are elevated preventing accidental by-pass of heavy debris to the pool when cartridge filter is removed. Systems are pre-plumbed and include PVC plumbing, platform and they accept standard spigot valves. Back to Top
