Available in two models to accommodate any size residential pool. The "Iceblock" (sku # 85200) unit is designed to operate efficiently in the high humid areas. The "Iceberg" (sku # 85201) unit is for the larger backyard pools over 30,000 gallons. Both models will drop the pool water temperature down 12° - 15° within 12 to 14 hours.A 10° drop in water temperature (95' to 85') can result in a savings of 20-25% on chemical consumption. Not only will your pool be refreshing during those hot summer months but your water chemistry will be easier to maintain. The Glacier Pool Cooler is a fan based system not a heat pump, so it does not need freon nor does it require the expense of operating a heat pump and it is easily incorporated into your pool plumbing and automated control systems. If you live in a hot climate and have a pool 25,000 gallons or less the Glacier Pool Cooler will cool your pool within 12 hours.The Glacier Pool Cooler runs on 8.5 amps (electric only) so no gas bill will come. Also, keep in mind it is not like heating your pool where the heater will keep cycling on and off to maintain the heated temperature and running up your bill. Once you cool your pool down with the Glacier Pool Cooler your pool will stay cool for a day or two. If you live in a high humidity region, the "Ice block" performs excellently.
