Description
Use Leslie's Alkalinity Up when you need to raise Total Alkalinity without changing your pH very much. Adding 1½ pound of Alkalinity Up to 10,000 gallons of pool water will increase Total Alkalinity by 10 ppm with only a slight change in pH.Steps for Application:
- Broadcast the Alkalinity Up over the pool surface.
- Alkalinity Up should be added when the pump is on an running.
- Retest the Total Alkalinity and pH after 2 to 4 hours.
- Do NOT add more than 10 lbs. of Alkalinity Up per 10,000 gallons of pool water at any one time.
- Do NOT add Alkalinity Up on the same day as Leslie's Hardness Plus (calcium hardness increaser).
- Alkalinity Up may be used in spas and hot tubs.
