Description

Use Leslie's Soda Ash when you want to raise Total Alkalinity and pH. Adding 6 ounces of Soda Ash to 10,000 gallons of water will raise pH by approximately 0.2. The same 6 ounces will also raise the Total Alkalinity of 10,000 gallons of water by about 4ppm. Neutralizes over-acid conditions in your pool. 100% sodium carbonate

Steps for Application

1. Broadcast the Soda Ash over the pool surface or mix the Soda Ash in a large bucket of water and add to the pool.
2. Soda Ash should be added when the pump is on and running.
3. Retest the Total Alkalinity and pH after 2 to 4 hours.

Helpful Tips:

• Do NOT add more than 4 lbs. of Soda Ash per 10,000 gallons of pool water at any one time.
• Do NOT add Soda Ash on the same day as Leslie's Hardness Plus (calcium hardness increaser).
• Do NOT add Soda Ash to spas or hot tubs.
• Always test or re-test the water before making any chemical adjustments.
• If the pH is low, test for metals (especially copper and iron)
