Open 2 New Stores this Week

Total of 48 New Stores to Open in Spring 2013

PHOENIX, Ariz.(April 29, 2013) - Leslie's Poolmart, Inc. (Leslie's), the nation's leading retailer of swimming pool supplies and related products, announces its plans to grand open 2 new retail locations on May 3rd. The stores will celebrate their grand openings May 3 - May 6, with specials and festivities throughout the weekend, including 20 percent off everything in the store.

The May 3rd Grand Opening stores are in the following cities/states:

Springfield, Pa.
Oceanside, Calif.


In total, Leslie's plans to open 48 new stores this year, between March and May. With these new stores and its recent acquisition of 24 Warehouse Pool Supply stores in the Houston area, Leslie's will bring its total store count to more than 800 stores nationwide. The company employs approximately 3,500 associates across the country during the swimming pool season.

"Our new stores will offer customers an expansive selection of swimming pool supplies, pool equipment and recreational items. Leslie's is dedicated to providing answers and solutions for the swimming pool needs of its customers. All Leslie's stores offer free water tests in store. Testing the pool water is one of the most important things a pool owner can do to ensure a clean, clear pool. Customers are encouraged to take a sample of their water into a local Leslie's store to get complete test results. This helps to ensure the water is balanced on all aspects.
