Pool Sanitizers

Sanitizing your pool water is one of the most important steps in routine pool maintenance. Pool Sanitizers include Chlorine Tablets, Granular Chlorine, Pool Shock, Bromine, Mineral Systems, Salt Water Chlorination and Alternative Sanitizers.

Chlorine Tablets

Chlorine Tablets are the most popular form of sanitization for above and in-ground pools. Stabilized chlorine tabs are densely compressed to slowly dissolve and provide an even distribution throughout the pool water. 3 Inch Chlorine Tablets are ideal for use in an Automatic Chemical Feeder or Floating Chlorine Dispenser.

Pool Shock

Healthy and clear water is at your fingertips with Leslie's exclusive, industry-leading Pool Shock bags and buckets! Shocking your pool helps sanitize the water, kill bacteria and algae and eliminate chemical odors. Using shock on a regular basis lets your other pool chemicals function at their best to keep your pool water clean and refreshing!

Chlor Brite Granular Chlorine Shock is great for saltwater pools, and pools with vinyl liners or other sensitive surfaces, because of its nearly-neutral pH level. It won't cloud water and dissolves quickly. Power Powder Cal Hypo Shock is our most powerful form of pool shock. It's perfect for eliminating algae blooms and other major contaminants. Fresh 'N' Clear Chlorine Free Shock oxidizes non-living organic contaminants, increasing the effectiveness of the Free Available Chlorine (FAC) in your pool water. Fresh 'N Clear will not add any additional chlorine to the pool or spa but will help increase the capability of the chlorine sanitizer that's already in the water by oxidizing the water and eliminating non-living organic contaminants.

Bromine

Bromine Tablets are an effective and safe alternative to chlorine. Conveniently drop the 1” bromine tabs in a floating dispenser or chemical feeder for slow and even disbursement. Bromine is the recommended sanitizer for hot tubs and indoor swimming pools because of how well it holds up in high temperatures.

Mineral Systems

There are many benefits associated with Pool Mineral Sanitizer Systems. The biggest benefit is that mineral systems can greatly reduce the amount of chlorine or bromine needed in your pool or spa. If you’re using a salt chlorine generator, mineral systems can also help reduce the wear and tear on your salt cell. Mineral systems are also known to give the water a softer feel.

Alternative Sanitizers

Alternative Pool Sanitizers like Salt Chlorination, UV Disinfection and Ozone Oxidation Systems are great options to reduce the need for chlorine in swimming pools and spas. Benefits of alternative pool sanitizers include ease of maintenance, softer water, reduced skin and eye irritation, and no more harsh odors.
